Janice has been working with clay for over thirty years and teaching for most of her life. She teaches pottery here in Saskatoon and creates work in her backyard studio. Janice is also passionate about fermenting as well, and she makes fermenting crocks and weights. She has partnered with her sister-in-law to create courses and workshops on fermenting called Umami (Ooom-am-ee) Prairie Ferments.
